Our story at Blooming Youth

The inspiration behind Blooming Youth

Blooming Youth was born from a rich background as a nurse, educator, and parent. My journey began with everyday teaching and learning within my own family. As my oldest child grew and was about to start spending time home alone, I found myself having many important conversations about safety and responsibility. I felt it was important to share this knowledge with other children and youth in our community to help increase their confidence and to empower them to feel safe and responsible too.

Our classes are more than simply completing a workbook. Every class is designed to build confidence through interactive activities, realistic scenarios, hands on practice and meaningful discussions. I bring many years of healthcare and teaching experience to every class and create a supportive environment where children feel comfortable asking questions, practicing new skills and developing independence. My hope is that children and youth leave Blooming Youth's classes feeling more confident and prepared to be independent and to handle situations in a safe and responsible way.

Classes are currently being offered in the Clarksburg, Meaford and Collingwood Areas.
